I sometimes think that I can fly. Crashing through to the other side. I sometimes reach way up high. Breaking through the barriers of the sky. I have gazed deeply into the eyes of a woman and I have seen the truth that is hidden. I have worked hard in school and have done well for myself. Yet, sometimes I feel as if I have lost. I feel that my life lacks a certain substance... that there is something missing or something hidden from my grasp. That "something" is possibly life, maybe love, or even all of the above.

What is it that makes people hold onto their beliefs despite the pressures that may be placed on them to change? What is it that allows humans to exhibit will power? Is it possible to break that will? Is it possible to break the human soul? The answer is somewhat eluding.

People often say that there are too many things in this world to worry about, that there are too many problems with this world... I disagree. I feel that the world is an overall good place, there are just people with bad attitudes that are causing the problems. No one else seems to share this opinion with me, and that is a shame. The world should be looked at as a place to strive, not just a place to survive.

Okay... it's a touchy subject, but someone must talk about it. We all know that the government constantly works to gain more power and more control over the people. If you don't see that... then you must be blind. They often step out of the bounds that our founding fathers set forth... but are put back in check by the Supreme Court. Well... at least most of the time.
